​Chenguang Biotech Zambia Agri-Dev LTD is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Safety Officer.

​🔑 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐉𝐎𝐁

​To implement, monitor, and enforce occupational health and safety policies and procedures to ensure workplace safety, statutory compliance, and effective risk mitigation across company operations.

​🔑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐃𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒

​✅ Implement and monitor occupational health and safety policies and procedures

✅ Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments

✅ Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses

✅ Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

✅ Monitor compliance with safety rules and statutory requirements

​🔑 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 & 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄

​✅ Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

✅ HSE certification is an added advantage

✅ 1–2 years’ experience in HSE role

✅ Knowledge of occupational health, safety & environmental legislation

✅ Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation & safety auditing

✅ Must be a member of ZOASH/EIZ

✅ Must be a resident of Maamba, Monze, Mazabuka, or Livingstone

​✅ Incident investigation and safety auditing skills

✅ Risk assessment and workplace inspection capabilities

✅ Strong understanding of HSE legislation and compliance

✅ Effective communication and interpersonal skills
