Recruiting on behalf of our esteemed Client | Position: Accountant (1 Position)
DMS HR Consultancy is recruiting qualified, dynamic, and experienced professionals on behalf of our esteemed Client across various key sectors.
Position: Accountant (1 Position)
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate financial records, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow forecasting.
- Prepare timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management accounts.
- Handle statutory tax compliance, computations, and returns (ZRA PAYE, VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, NAPSA, NHIMA).
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, inventory audits, and balance sheet variance analysis.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and financial institutions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Mandatory: Full Grade 12 Certificate with minimum 5 O-Level Passes (including English).
- Education / Certification: Degree in Accounting / Finance / ZICA / ACCA Level 2 / CIMA.
- Professional Membership: Paid-up ZICA Member with a valid practicing certificate.
- Experience: 3+ Years in corporate financial management & reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting software.
- High level of professional integrity, confidentiality, and analytical capability.
