Employment Information
Star Safety is recruiting a qualified and experienced Accountant to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting and compliance activities.
The successful candidate will support effective financial management, ensure accurate financial records and contribute to informed business decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports and management accounts.
• Coordinate budgeting and cost control activities.
• Manage inventory-related financial records and cash flow.
• Maintain statutory compliance and complete financial reconciliations.
• Conduct financial analysis and profitability monitoring.
Qualifications
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fully qualified professional accounting designation such as ACCA, CIMA, CIS or equivalent.
• Valid registration with a recognised professional accounting body (PAAB or equivalent in Zimbabwe).
• Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software, with Odoo experience being an added advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and financial modelling.
• Knowledge of Zimbabwean taxation legislation and ZIMRA filing systems.
