Accountant

We have a position for an Accountant with a vehicle dealership in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with full accounting function within a dealership environment; Reconcile bank accounts, floorplans, debtors and creditors; Process supplier invoices and vehicle-related payments; Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting; Ensure accurate capturing of vehicle and parts transactions; Support VAT, PAYE, and tax submissions; Assist with audits and internal controls; Maintain and update accounting records on relevant systems.

Requirements:

• Com Degree in Accounting or Finance (completed – essential)
• Minimum 3-4 years' accounting experience in the automotive industry with brands such UD Trucks, Hino, Toyota etc.
• Experience with motor dealership systems (e.g., Kerridge, Automate, CDK, etc.)
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
