Responsibilities or duties
Manage daily accounting and financial transactions.
Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, invoices, and accounting records.
Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
Monitor income, expenses, payments, and receivables.
Assist with budgeting and financial controls.
Provide management with accurate financial information when required.
Statutory Remittances and Compliance
Prepare, process, and ensure timely remittance of NAPSA contributions and other statutory obligations, including PAYE, NHIMA, Workers’ Compensation, and Skills Development Levy, as applicable.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Grade 12 Certificate.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Qualification must be from a recognized institution/professional body in Zambia.
Good computer skills and proficiency in accounting/office applications.
Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience needed
5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in the automotive spare-parts industry is an added advantage
Previous experience in HR or general administration will be an added advantage, particularly in payroll administration, employee records, and statutory compliance
