Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable functions ensuring timely and accurate handling of financial transactions.
  • Maintain key financial records,including ledgers and accounts, with a focus on accuracy and organization.
  • Assist with the invoicing process and perform basic follow-up for outstanding payments.
  • Learn and assist with maintaining our accounting software, ensuring data integrity.
  • Gather and organize information to support compliance efforts during audits.
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports by providing accurate data.
  • Coordinate with colleagues regarding accounts and address basic customer inquiries related to invoices and payments.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documents, ensuring easy retrieval.
  • Identify areas for process improvement in accounts management and suggests efficient practices.
  • Analyzing and complying with the transaction policy in place – analyzing unusual records, comparing with client profile. Dully reporting same to the risk and compliance department.

Profile:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational skills including planning, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
  • Dynamic good interpersonal, results-driven approach, analytical skills, proactive and detail oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

 

Qualifications:

  • Post HSC, BSC Accounting / Accounting & Finance or any equivalent qualification.
  • ACCA qualifications desirable.
  • At least two (2) years of work experience.
