Job Description:
- As an Actuarial Analyst, you will support profitability analysis while contributing to broader actuarial functions such as reinsurance, capital management, and IFRS17 reporting.
- You will be responsible for analysing data, identifying trends, and translating insights into meaningful business recommendations. The role involves building reports using SQL and Power BI, presenting findings to stakeholders, and supporting decision-making processes across the business.
- Additional responsibilities include assisting with reinsurance modelling, capital requirements, and driving automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency. You will also play a key role in maintaining management information reports and supporting business strategy through data-driven insights.
Skills & Experience:- Minimum 2 years’ experience in short-term insurance
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and statistical skills
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
- Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Qualification:- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science
- Progress toward or completion of A100 and A200 exams
