Employment Opportunity: Advertising Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Advertising Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing advertising opportunities, acquiring and managing clients, and supporting the achievement of advertising sales targets.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in advertising sales.
• Experience in TV advertising is preferred.
• Previous experience in the marketing department of a pay-TV business or TV station will be an added advantage.
• Ability to independently identify, develop, and maintain customer relationships.
• Excellent written and spoken English, as English will be the primary working language.
• Strong communication, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing business and market conditions.
• Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to meet sales targets and work with minimal supervision.

Education & Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or another relevant business-related field.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be commercially minded, confident in dealing with clients, proactive in identifying new business opportunities, and capable of translating customer needs into effective advertising solutions. Experience within the media, broadcasting, telecommunications, or pay-TV industry will be particularly valuable.
