Komatsu South Africa is looking for a driven and technically strong Product Specialist to join our Aftermarket team. This role focuses on Undercarriage, Filters, Oils & Lubricants, supporting sales growth, customer engagement, and product expertise across mining and construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Drive aftermarket parts sales across UC / Filters / Oils product lines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels
- Conduct site visits, technical consultations, and customer presentations
- Prepare quotations, analyse customer needs, and provide tailored solutions
- Perform wallet share analysis and identify opportunities for growth
Product Expertise & Support
- Provide technical guidance on aftermarket products
- Analyse machine and workshop data to support parts recommendations
- Stay updated on product developments and industry trends
- Resolve customer queries and complaints effectively
Training & Development
- Deliver product training to internal teams and customers
- Facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Collaborate with suppliers and technical experts
Supplier & Inventory Management
- Manage supplier relationships and service level agreements
- Monitor stock levels, demand forecasts, and product availability
- Ensure compliance with Komatsu standards and quality requirements
