Airport Representative

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide a welcome and hosting service to guests arriving off international flights, road transfers or who are in transit between international and domestic flights
• Interfacing directly with guests arriving at and departing from the airport
• Assist guests with their needs at the airport, e.g. car hire, foreign exchange, sim cards, excess luggage etc.
• Liaise with our third-party service providers
• Applicant will work shifts (early and late) and/or public holidays/weekends
• Assist with transfer scheduling
• Assist consultants on emergency line during shift hours
• Liaise with airlines and Namibia Airports Company
• Problem solving and communication skills
• General administrative work
  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or a minimum of 2 years’ working experience in travel and tourism in Namibia is an advantage
• Good understanding of the Namibian tourism industry
• Excellent communication skills with English as first language; additional languages an advantage
• Valid driver’s license
• Results-orientated, friendly, courteous, well-spoken and proactive team player
• Good computer literacy levels, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of the Wilderness Window,
• TourPlan and Wish an advantage
• Namibian citizen
