ANTI-POACHING FIELD RANGER (6 POSITIONS) – Uncharted Africa Safari Co.

Uncharted Africa Safari Co. is seeking dedicated, disciplined, and conservation-minded Anti-Poaching Field Rangers to join our Conservation and Anti-Poaching Unit.

The successful candidates will play a critical role in protecting wildlife and natural resources through anti-poaching patrols, intelligence gathering, surveillance, and conservation support activities within our concession areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct anti-poaching patrols on foot and by vehicle.
• Detect, prevent, and report illegal wildlife activities.
• Remove snares, traps, and other illegal hunting equipment.
• Assist with wildlife monitoring and environmental data collection.
• Gather and report information relating to wildlife crime and conservation threats.
• Monitor and assist in resolving human-wildlife conflict incidents.
• Maintain patrol equipment, vehicles, radios, and field gear.
• Prepare and submit patrol and incident reports.
• Support conservation and law enforcement operations.

Requirements

• BGCSE or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Class B Driver's Licence.
• Basic First Aid Certificate.
• Previous experience in conservation, anti-poaching, law enforcement, military service, or related fields will be an added advantage.
• Physically fit, disciplined, and able to work in remote wilderness environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• No criminal record and willing to undergo vetting.
