We are seeking a motivated, driven, enthusiastic and professional Area Sales Consultant who will be responsible for driving new business development, maintaining and growing an existing customer base, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role requires proactive sales generation, client relationship management, and ongoing account development to achieve monthly revenue targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Sales & Marketing Diploma (advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years’ sales experience (service-based or B2B sales highly advantageous)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Own reliable transport
- Computer literate (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong telephonic communication skills
- Excellent time management and self-discipline
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities within assigned geographic area
- Conduct cold calling, networking, and on-site visits to generate leads
- Perform needs analysis and site surveys for potential clients
- Prepare and present tailored hygiene and cleaning service solutions
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
Account Management & Customer Retention
- Maintain and grow existing customer base through regular client visits
- Re-sign and upgrade existing service contracts
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Operations & Service Coordination
- Follow up on installations, service delivery, and customer queries
- Liaise with operations teams to ensure smooth implementation of services
- Resolve client issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure service quality standards are consistently met
Administration & Reporting
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities and maintain a structured diary
- Complete accurate reports on visits, leads, and sales progress
- Prepare commission sheets and sales documentation
- Update CRM or sales tracking systems where applicable
