EUM, part of the TWK group, has the following vacancy available: Area Sales Supervisor at Polokwane, Limpopo.
Job Summary
This role involves leading and managing funeral insurance sales activities within a designated region, driving premium growth, expanding market presence, and developing distribution channels to support the organisation’s strategic objectives and profitability.
Responsibilities and Duties- Lead and manage regional field sales agents and sales teams
- Achieve sales targets, premium income growth, and policy acquisition goals
- Develop and execute sales and distribution strategies
- Drive acquisition of funeral schemes, affinity partnerships, and group business
- Identify new opportunities across communities, churches, unions, and organisations
- Expand and strengthen broker, funeral parlour, and partner relationships
- Recruit, coach, and develop sales team members
- Monitor performance against KPIs and implement improvement plans
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, activations, and community engagement initiatives
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners
- Ensure compliance with FAIS, FSCA, and organisational governance requirements
- Compile accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric / Grade 12
- RE5 Certification (advantageous)
- Certification in Insurance or related field (advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in insurance or funeral sales
- 1–2 years’ experience in managing sales teams
- Experience within funeral insurance, life insurance, or financial services sectors
- Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities
- Valid driver’s license (Code 08)
