Threat and Risk assessment analyses;
Client liaison and professional client relationship;
Initiative to approach client pro-actively on operational issues;
Manpower management;
Equipment management;
Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints;
Ensure that contractual requirements are met at all times;
Incident and investigations management;
Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code;
Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings;
Assisting with IR issues as and when they arise;
Ensure all BPC and Glencore SOP’S are followed
Coal and illegal mining investigation/intelligence experience would be advantageous
Business Purpose firearm training for Handgun/Shotgun
SAPS Competency for Handgun/Shotgun;
NQF Level 5 in generic management training
Computer literate and proficient in report writing.
Must be able to relocate to 50km vicinity of Glencore Coal;
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
PSIRA certification – Grade A;
Tertiary degree or diploma in Security Management;
At least 06 to 08 years proven Supervision or Management experience;
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
Gold and illegal mining investigation/intelligence experience would be advantageous;
Business Purpose firearm training for Handgun/Shotgun/Rifle
SAPS Competency for Handgun/Shotgun/Rifle;
National Key point training;
Bilingual (English and any other South African Language);
The ability to communicate and present at all levels;
Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
Working knowledge of MS office (Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel)
The ability to work under pressure and long hours;
Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
Code 08 driver’s license and valid PDP;
Must be able to relocate to 50km vicinity of Secunda;
