Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Responding to user requests, diagnosing hardware/software faults, and solving technical issues.
- Hardware/Software Installation: Setting up new computers, installing software, upgrading systems, and maintaining peripherals like printers and cabling.
- System Maintenance: Ensuring computers run efficiently through routine maintenance, updates, and security checks.
- Network Administration: Assisting with network configuration, troubleshooting, and managing user accounts.
- Documentation: Maintaining records of issues and solutions in a tracking system, and updating knowledge bases.
Requirements
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.
- Certifications: Certificate, Diploma or more in IT (preferably software engineering).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and fix complex technical problems under pressure.
- Communication: Skills for training users on new software and explaining technical issues simply.
- Minimum of 1 year working experience.
