We are seeking a motivated individual to support the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our Service Station, Shop, and Campsite. As Assistant Manager, you will help manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, maintain high operational standards, and oversee stock control. You will be hands-on, highly visible on the shop floor, and ready to step up in the Manager's absence.
Key responsibilities:
- Floor Management: Assist in supervising daily activities across the Service Station, Shop, Campsite, and onsite Deli.
- Customer Excellence: Handle customer requests or complaints efficiently and maintain a strong floor presence.
- Stock & Inventory: Help manage fuel levels, shop inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
- Administration: Assist with daily cash-ups, basic invoicing, and shift reconciliations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise staff shifts, monitor performance, and ensure health and safety rules are followed.

Minimum applicant criteria:
- Ages between 25 and 50
- Own transport and a valid driver’s licence
- Solid, verifiable track record
- Must be a Namibian Citizen or have a valid work permit for Namibia
- Must have 2 to 3 years’ experience in Retail Outlet and/or Fuel Outlet supervision.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Strong supervisory background and good computer skills.
- Excellent customer service and practical retail experience.
- Familiarity with fuel station safety and general operations.
- Experience with Innkeeper / Shopkeeper (Cismo) systems is a major advantage.
- Strong administrative habits (accurate cash handling and paperwork).
- Ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Resilient under pressure and an excellent team player.
