Job Details

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exceptional guest service and maximise customer satisfaction
  • Assist in increasing restaurant sales and revenue
  • Supervise and manage casual and permanent restaurant staff
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures of the restaurant and storerooms
  • Support stocktaking processes for operating equipment and Food & Beverage stock
  • Ensure accurate billing and charging according to function sheets
  • Maintain high operational and service standards at all times

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience within a 4* or 5* hospitality environment
  • Strong guest relations and communication skills
  • Computer literate in MS Office and Micros
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Own accommodation within George or surrounding areas
  • Well-presented, energetic, and guest centric
  • Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operational requirements
