Audit Manager

We are currently seeking an Audit Manager to join our reputable client’s team.

Requirements:

·        Completed SAICA articles (compulsory)

·        CA(SA) designation preferred but not compulsory

·        Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the role of Audit Supervisor or Audit Manager within a small-to-medium sized audit practice

·        Strong working knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, Income Tax Act, the Companies Act, and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)

·        Proficient in CaseWare Working Papers, Caseware Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite

·        Strong leadership, people management, and professional communication skills

·        High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to manage multiple deadlines independently

Experience with:

·        Managing a portfolio of audit, independent review, and related assurance engagements from planning to completion

·        Reviewing audit files, working papers, annual financial statements, and supporting documentation

·        Supervising, mentoring, and developing audit staff and trainees

·        Reviewing and approving SAICA trainee assessments and competencies on the SAICA Electronic Assessment Tool (E.A.T.) system

·        Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients

·        Reviewing engagement budgets, timelines, team allocations, and file profitability

·        Exposure to group audits, consolidations, independent reviews, and various industry audits (e.g., attorney trust audits, property practitioner audits)
