Job Summary
Responsible for servicing, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and reliable fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out engine overhauls, gearbox, clutch, brakes, suspension and general repairs
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections
- Diagnose mechanical faults and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain and service forklifts, trucks and light vehicles
- Ensure proper use of tools and adherence to workshop safety procedures
- Maintain service records and spare parts usage
- Support breakdowns and roadside repairs when required
Minimum Qualification
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years experience as Auto Mechanic in transport, logistics or FMCG environment
- Experience with diesel engines, trucks and refrigeration units is preferred
Key Skills
- Hands-on experience with engine diagnostics and heavy-duty vehicles
- Ability to read technical manuals and workshop manuals
- Problem-solving and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, lights, and sensors
- Maintain and troubleshoot ECU, GPS trackers, and refrigeration truck electrical systems
- Carry out preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles as per schedule
- Install accessories, radios, alarms, and electrical components
- Read electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools
- Maintain job cards, spare parts records and report major breakdowns
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop housekeeping

- Hands-on experience with engine diagnostics and heavy-duty vehicles
- Ability to read technical manuals and workshop manuals
- Problem-solving and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage
Qualifications
- Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or relevant field
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
