Position Overview – Automation Technicians Jobs in Kitwe The Automation Technicians will play a vital role in supporting industrial automation systems and related technical functions. This position requires adaptability to work in both underground and open-pit mining environments, ensuring operational efficiency and safety in varied conditions.

Key Responsibilities Maintain and support industrial automation equipment and systems. Perform troubleshooting and technical operations related to automation processes.

Adapt to working conditions in underground and open-pit mining environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize automation performance.

Qualifications and Experience Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline. At least one year of experience in industrial automation.

Strong computer proficiency. Willingness to travel, relocate, and work in underground or open-pit environments.

Knowledge of PLC programming and HMI systems is advantageous. Experience in underground mining is considered a plus.
