Position: Bakery Manager
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Job Type: Full-Time

The Cake Lovers is looking for a skilled, creative, and passionate Bakery Manager to oversee our daily bakery operations, lead our production team, and uphold the highest standards of confectionery craftsmanship.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an industrial or commercial bakery.
• Strong skills in cake decoration, artistry, and finishing.
• Able to bake a wide range of cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts.
• Proven experience in managing, scheduling, and supervising bakery staff.
• Sound knowledge of production planning, inventory management, quality control, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bakery operations and production schedules.
• Decorate and produce high-quality, elegant cakes and desserts.
• Manage, train, and supervise bakery staff and apprentice bakers.
• Ensure consistent quality, aesthetic presentation, and timely delivery of products.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards across all workstations.
• Support menu development and new product creation.
