A prestigious 5-star hotel is seeking a polished and hands-on Banqueting Head Waiter to lead service excellence at conferences, weddings, gala dinners and special events. You are a natural leader, comfortable on your feet, with a passion for luxury hospitality and an eye for every detail that makes a great guest experience. What You Bring At least 2 years experience as a Head Waiter in a 5-star hotel environment Banqueting and conferencing environment experience preferred Hospitality qualification advantageous Strong leadership and team supervision skills Ability to motivate and lead a team Experience in menu and food pairing Knowledge of cocktails, wines and other beverages advantageous Professional; well-groomed appearance Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and F&B operating systems Flexible availability for weekends, public holidays and evenings What You Will Do Supervise and coordinate all banquet and event service operations Lead and brief the banqueting team before each event Deliver 5-star guest service and resolve service issues professionally Monitor service quality, presentation and guest satisfaction throughout each event Ensure all banquet venues are clean, organised and correctly set up prior to each function Coordinate with kitchen, bar and events teams for seamless service delivery Maintain HACCP, hygiene and health and safety compliance Assist with stock control and operational reporting Process payments accurately and upsell menu items with confidence Receive guests in a warm and welcoming manner
