Core Criteria:
- Formal hospitality training OR a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role at a luxury establishment essential
- Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverage service, and cocktail preparation
- Excellent food and beverage service skills with a high attention to detail
- Well-presented, professional, and warm in manner
- Strong communication and guest interaction skills
- Ability to work effectively within a small, close-knit team
- Flexible and willing to work hospitality hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Comfortable living and working in a remote bush environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service to guests across all meal periods and service occasions
- Prepare and serve a full range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, to the highest standard
- Ensure tables are correctly set and all service areas are immaculately presented at all times
- Engage warmly and professionally with guests, anticipating their needs and personalising their experience
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, beverage offerings, and daily specials
- Communicate any guest dietary requirements, preferences, and allergies to the relevant team members
- Maintain strict hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout all bar and dining areas
- Assist with stock control, requisitions, and the responsible management of bar inventory
- Support the wider lodge team to ensure a seamless and cohesive guest experience at all times
