Body Repair Technician

Responsible for restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition, ensuring safety, functionality, and a flawless aesthetic finish.

Structural Repair: Remove damaged sections of vehicles, chain frames to alignment machines to correct structural damage, and fit replacement parts using welding equipment.

Surface Preparation: File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces to ensure a smooth finish, and remove small pits and dimples from body metal.

Protection and Painting: Cover areas not being painted with tape or paper, and prime and paint repaired surfaces using spray guns and sanders.

Component Removal/Installation: Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components to gain access to repair areas, and replace damaged glass or trim.

Inspection: Inspect repaired vehicles for proper functioning, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance.
