Position Overview:

• Bonded Warehouse Site Supervisor The successful candidate will oversee daily bonded warehouse activities, ensuring smooth stock verification, loading operations, and managing warehouse traffic flow.

This role demands a hands-on leader who can supervise site personnel and enforce compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities for Bonded Warehouse Site Supervisor Jobs in Ndola On-site Operations Management:

• Supervise all bonded warehouse activities to guarantee efficient and uninterrupted handling of goods.

Vehicle and Documentation Control:

• Manage vehicle access and direct trucks to appropriate loading and offloading areas, ensuring all related documentation is accurate and up to date.

Personnel Supervision:

• Lead and coordinate bonded warehouse staff, including forklift operators and general assistants, to maintain productivity and safety.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Enforce strict adherence to regulatory requirements, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols to prevent theft, damage, and unauthorized access.

Inventory Verification:

• Perform thorough checks on incoming and outgoing cargo against waybills to confirm correct quantities and conditions.
• Qualifications and Experience Required Diploma or Degree in Transport & Logistics (CILT), Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (CIPS), Procurement, Warehousing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ experience managing bonded warehouse sites.
• Basic understanding of Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) customs procedures such as BOE and EX-BOND is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage site workforce and equipment, including forklifts, reach stackers, and truck fleets.
• Competency in interpreting operational documents and performing basic data tasks using Excel.
• Membership with the Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (ZCILT) is mandatory.
• Additional Skills and Attributes Excellent communication skills to effectively manage teams and escalate major issues appropriately.
• Strong commitment to safety, customs compliance, and operational responsibility.
• Compensation and Interview Process The position offers a gross monthly salary of ZMW 8,000.
