Our client, a dynamic and growing international group, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to take full ownership of the bookkeeping function across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Operations
- Manage the full bookkeeping function with minimal supervision
- Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple local and international entities
- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
- Prepare accounts up to trial balance level
- Ensure accurate daily transaction processing and ledger maintenance
Month-End & Reporting- Support and execute month-end close processes
- Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, provisions, and journals
- Maintain trial balances, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Investigate variances and provide clear explanations
- Identify and escalate risks, discrepancies, and control weaknesses proactively
Reconciliations & Financial Controls- Perform reconciliations for:
- Bank accounts
- Debtors and creditors
- VAT accounts
- Payroll control accounts
- Intercompany balances
- Suspense and clearing accounts
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger at all times
Stakeholder Engagement- Liaise with auditors and finance stakeholders across the group
- Prepare audit-ready schedules and supporting documentation
- Build strong working relationships across multiple business entities
Job Experience and Skills Required:- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping
- Minimum 5 years' bookkeeping experience
- Proven experience managing bookkeeping across multiple legal entities
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial processes
- Strong understanding of month-end procedures and financial controls
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables
- Experience working with cloud-based accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
