Reporting to the Managing Director – Multotec International Africa, the incumbent will be responsible for providing an efficient Operations and Managerial Leadership role for the Subsidiary, overseeing all operations, personnel and finances as well as developing business strategy and objectives to ensure sustainability and growth of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development and Implementation- Create the conditions for sustainable growth through developing and executing business plans.
• Operations Management – Provide leadership and direction to the country management team as well as be fully accountable for all country operations for the delivery of the financial business plans and KPIs.
• Financial Management – Optimise and continuously improve the cost of doing business from both a capital and revenue expenditure perspective. Creating the conditions that all colleagues invest and spend wisely to ensure that our customers can afford to do business with us.
• Stakeholder Management – Be the visible Multotec Botswana representative for the market/ cluster for all external stakeholder interactions including government, vendors and media.
• OSHEQ Compliance – Ensure all HSE, compliance and governance policies, principles and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times and perform the role of assurance lead for OSHEQ, legal and finance.
• Human Asset Management – Work with human capital and business partners to ensure associated policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to throughout the country’s business operations as well as role model the Multotec core values and ways of working.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or an Ore processing qualification
• A Post Graduate Qualification in Business Administration, Commerce, Financial Management is an advantage.
• At least 5 years’ managerial experience preferably in an engineering or ore processing environment.
• Working Knowledge of Multotec group products will be an added advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence a pre-requisite.
• Membership of a Professional Body e.g., ERB is an added advantage
