Key Responsibilities

Market and sell the Company’s insurance products
Supervise, direct, coordinate and oversee the operations of the Branch, Agency Offices and Agents within the jurisdiction
Supervise all underwriting and claims activities in the branch
Ensure the achievement of set goals and yearly production targets
Identify and develop marketing strategies based on knowledge of the Company’s objectives, market characteristics, cost and make up factors
Submit strategies in line with the overall corporate objectives for the achievement of set targets
Deliver marketing activities within established budget
Establish and build business relationships with existing and potential clients in order to protect existing books of business
Provide market intelligence information in a timely manner to enable the Company react to changes in the business
Provide feedback to the Operations, Finance, Business Development, ICT Departments to ensure that quality service and underwriting standards are maintained to achieve client satisfaction

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in insurance, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or Social Science Degree.
Minimum of Diploma in Professional Insurance Qualification (Dip CII)
Additional certification in Leadership, entrepreneurship will be an advantage
Minimum of 6 years relevant working experience in marketing, preferably in the insurance industry
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
