Position Overview:

Is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our Port Elizabeth branch. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in road freight and logistics, demonstrating leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of
    • Coordinate and optimize the use of resources, including vehicles, personnel, and
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure and accident-free work

2. Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of logistics
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting teamwork and
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team

3. Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion and collaborate with the sales team to secure new clients.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective

4. Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the branch budget, ensuring financial targets are
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost- saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and invoicing

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Qualification non-
  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field an
  • Proven experience in road freight and logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
