Role Purpose:
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading branch operations, driving sales performance, delivering excellent customer service, ensuring operational compliance, and developing high-performing teams. The role also focuses on business growth, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining Bayport’s service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive branch sales performance and business growth;
• Lead, coach, and develop branch teams to achieve targets;
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns;
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements;
• Manage branch operations, facilities, budgets, and administrative controls;
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, employers, and community stakeholders;
• Identify local business opportunities and support market growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field;
• Certificate of Proficiency in Long-term and Short-term Insurance (where applicable).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services;
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or branch leadership role;
• Experience managing sales teams or branch operations;
• Sound knowledge of unsecured lending and the Botswana market.
