Key Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging business requirements and technical solutions by:


Continuous Improvement

  • Implement practical solutions using specialist and departmental systems and processes.

  • Provide specialist input and recommendations to improve efficiency, compliance, and quality objectives.

  • Identify operational issues and propose appropriate solutions to management and stakeholders.

  • Ensure day-to-day operational support is provided to enhance business performance.

  • Provide ongoing systems improvement support, including:

    • Defining scenarios,

    • Developing solution options,

    • Overseeing development according to specifications,

    • Conducting testing and monitoring.

  • Continuously monitor systems to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.

  • Engage with business units to evaluate and improve business processes.

Cost Containment

  • Support the development and implementation of cost-effective processes.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

  • Continuously evaluate cost-benefit and Return on Investment (ROI) initiatives within the area of specialisation.

Customer-Centric Service Delivery

  • Maintain strong collaboration with internal departments to improve service delivery.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of client and stakeholder needs.

Knowledge Management

  • Share specialist knowledge and maintain relevant documentation and research libraries.

  • Provide advice, guidance, and training where required.

  • Maintain and enhance specialist expertise within operational activities.

 Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and specialist resources.

Specialist Support to Projects

  • Provide specialist expertise and ensure best practices are implemented in projects.

  • Adhere to project management methodologies and governance standards.

  • Represent the department or projects on relevant committees when required.

Programming & Systems Support

  • Understand and apply .NET programming and PL/SQL knowledge.

  • Test, deploy, and support applications and systems.

Project Management

  • Develop technical project plans and ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Monitor project progress and provide regular stakeholder updates.

Business Analysis

  • Work closely with business units to identify and understand business requirements.

  • Translate business needs into technical specifications.

  • Document and communicate business analysis findings and recommendations.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act regarding client personal information.

  • Adhere to MS Policies Register, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and related standards.

  • Perform any additional duties delegated by the Head of Department (HOD). 

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

 

Experience

·        Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Analysis and related industry environments.

·        Experience within software development and systems implementation projects.

·        Proven experience working within Agile development environments.

·        Strong background in stakeholder engagement and systems improvement.

Technical Skills

·        Understanding of .NET programming and PL/SQL.

·        Knowledge of software testing, deployment, and systems support.

·        Understanding of systems integration and business processes.

·        Familiarity with governance frameworks and data protection requirements.
