Reports To Executive Director
Role Summary
The Business Development Manager will drive the commercial growth of the agency by refining and commercialising its portfolio of services, developing new business opportunities, strengthening strategic partnerships and coordinating service delivery. Working closely with management, the role will help position the agency for sustainable growth by leveraging existing capabilities, introducing new market opportunities and coordinating service delivery through an extended enterprise model that draws on a network of specialist vendors and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Service Development & Commercialisation
Review, refine and package the agency’s existing portfolio of services to enhance market competitiveness.
Develop compelling value propositions, service packages and pricing models for different client segments.
Identify opportunities to enhance existing offerings and introduce complementary services in line with market needs.
Support the commercialisation of new initiatives, products and platforms developed by the agency.
Ensure the agency’s service portfolio remains relevant, competitive and commercially attractive.
_*2. Strategic Partnerships & Service Coordination_*
Coordinate the delivery of services through the agency’s network of approved specialist vendors and strategic partners.
Identify and develop new partnerships that strengthen the agency’s capabilities and market reach.
Match project requirements with the most suitable partners while ensuring quality, timeliness and value for clients.
Maintain productive relationships with external service providers and monitor service performance.
Coordinate seamless collaboration between clients, partners and internal teams.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors.
Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
Lead client presentations, proposals and business pitches.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and strategic stakeholders.
Negotiate commercial agreements and contribute to achieving revenue and growth targets.
*_4. Client Account & Project Coordination_*
Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients.
Coordinate project delivery from engagement through completion.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
Maintain regular client communication and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts.
*_5. Market Development_*
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor activities.
Identify new market opportunities, strategic collaborations and growth initiatives.
Represent the agency at business meetings, networking events and industry engagements.
Recommend initiatives that strengthen the agency’s market presence and competitive advantage.
*_6. Business Planning & Performance_*
Contribute to the implementation of the agency’s business development strategy.
Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and client relationship database.
Prepare regular business development and performance reports.
Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements to business processes and commercial performance.
