A privately owned automotive parts retailer and wholesaler in Southern Africa that supplies a massive range of car parts, tools, and accessories to DIY car owners, independent mechanics, and trade professionals, is seeking a Business Systems Manager oversees the implementation, optimization, integration, and support of core enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, financial, and workflow tools).
Responsibilities:
Systems Management & Optimization: Oversee the administration, performance, and reliability of all enterprise applications to ensure alignment with business needs.
Project & Implementation Delivery: Lead system upgrades, implementations, and integration projects; manage testing, documentation, and change management.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Partner with business units to translate operational needs into technical solutions; manage external vendors and system licensing.
Governance, Security & Compliance: Enforce access controls, manage system audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain configuration documentation.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of system administrators and analysts, fostering best practices in support and maintenance.
Continuous Improvement: Identify automation opportunities, optimize workflows, and provide regular reports on system health and project status to support digital transformation.
Minimum Requirements:Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field.
Certifications (Preferred/Advantageous):
ITIL Foundation / Practitioner (Service Management)
Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum)
Enterprise Systems (Microsoft Dynamics/Azure/Power Platform, SAP, or Oracle)
5–8 years in business systems management, IT operations, or application support.
Proven experience managing enterprise-level applications and complex integration projects.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in enterprise system administration (ERP, CRM, HRIS).
Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, and workflow automation tools.
Competency in databases and SQL for reporting and analysis.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
Awareness of IT governance, compliance, and cybersecurity.
Experience with analytics and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
