What You'll Be Doing
- Install network cabling for IP surveillance and security cameras.
- Configure video management system software for business clients.
- Mount and position camera hardware on client sites daily.
- Troubleshoot hardware faults on recording devices and IP endpoints.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on integrated access control setups.
Required Qualifications- Knowledge of Milestone software and DAUHA and Heat Vision cameras would be an advantage.
- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent educational certification.
- Possess a valid South African driver’s license for travel to customer sites.
- Hold an IT networking certification for basic system configurations.
- Maintain PSIRA registration for electronic security personnel.
Required Experience- Apply two years of experience installing electronic security equipment.
- Show proficiency with major video surveillance software platforms.
- Use a strong understanding of IP networking and routers.
- Apply hands-on experience with tools and wire crimping devices.
- Interpret basic technical schematics and building floor plans correctly.
