Position Overview:

• Chef As a Chef at Maisha Zambia Trading, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals that meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
• You will play a key role in maintaining food safety and hygiene, managing kitchen operations efficiently, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Key Responsibilities for Chef Jobs in Kitwe Prepare meals according to approved menus and standardized recipes.
• Maintain consistent quality, taste, presentation, and portion control of all dishes.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels, minimize food wastage, and optimize ingredient usage.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation.
• Adhere to client specifications and company operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
• Demonstrate creativity in menu preparation and presentation.
• Qualifications and Experience Required Certificate in Food Production, Professional Cookery, or a related culinary field is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and kitchen management.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict meal service deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and time management capabilities.
• High levels of discipline, professionalism, and accountability.
