Recruiting on behalf of our esteemed Client | Position: Chef / Maid (Authentic Indian Cuisine – 1 Position)
DMS HR Consultancy is recruiting qualified, dynamic, and experienced professionals on behalf of our esteemed Client across various key sectors.
Position: Chef / Maid (1 Position)
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Special Requirement:
Must specialize in authentic Indian cuisine (curries, biryani, tandoori, breads/rotis, and traditional Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and cook daily authentic Indian meals according to taste, nutrition, and dietary preferences.
- Manage grocery shopping, ingredient sourcing, and proper storage of Indian spices and fresh produce.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen equipment care.
- Undertake domestic housekeeping and maid duties to maintain a tidy, organized household environment.
- Serve meals courteously and cater for family gatherings and hosting guests when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Mandatory: Full Grade 12 Certificate with minimum 5 O-Level Passes (including English).
- Required Certification: Certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Food Preparation.
- Health Clearance: Valid Medical / Food Handler’s Certificate.
- Experience: 2 Years of proven experience; Must specialize in authentic Indian cuisine.
- Hygienic, respectful, trustworthy, disciplined, and able to work independently.
