PHERNE LODGES is hiring suitable employees for the following positions:

Chef (1 Position)

Plan, prepare, and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established menus and recipes.
Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency in taste, portion sizes, and presentation.
Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies, receiving deliveries, and rotating stock.
Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff (cooks, kitchen assistants) as required.
Design daily specials and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor food costs and minimize waste to meet budgetary targets.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely delivery of meals during service hours.
Respond to special dietary requirements, allergies, and guest preferences with flexibility.
