Job Details
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Non-Woven and Technical Textiles industry, is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive business growth, operational excellence, and profitability. The successful candidate will have extensive manufacturing leadership experience and a proven track record of scaling operations, improving performance, and leading large teams within the textile or technical manufacturing sector. Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field (essential)
  • MBA in Operations, Strategy, or Finance advantageous
  • 18–30 years' experience within the Textile, Non-Woven, or Technical Textiles industry
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role such as COO, CEO, Business Head, or Plant Head
  • Strong manufacturing, operational, and commercial management experience
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth, profitability, and operational improvements
  • Experience managing large teams and complex manufacturing operations

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and market expansion
  • Oversee all manufacturing, production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain operations
  • Drive operational efficiency, productivity improvements, and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and profitability targets
  • Strengthen local and international market presence and identify new business opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence programs
  • Develop and mentor leadership teams while driving a high-performance culture
  • Oversee procurement, inventory management, and supply chain optimisation
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery
