Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong consulting experience to support the design and delivery of infrastructure and property development projects. The role involves both technical design work and client-facing responsibilities within a multidisciplinary professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design civil infrastructure including stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation systems
Develop road and pavement designs including layerworks and kerb layouts
Prepare stormwater management reports, outline scheme reports, and council submission documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across residential, commercial, and industrial developments
Run consulting projects and support client engagement activities
Ensure compliance with relevant municipal and engineering standards
Contribute to design optimisation and technical problem-solving across projects
Requirements:
BEng or BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering
5+ years’ experience in civil engineering consulting
Proficiency in Civil 3D; experience with SSA and Revit advantageous
Strong experience in infrastructure design and report writing for council approvals
Solid understanding of property development engineering requirements
Strong communication and project coordination skills
Experience representing a consulting firm within project teams advantageous
