Job role

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Manage and monitor patients with communicable & non-communicable diseases NCDs according to established clinical guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in continuous medical education and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of overall experience, with a minimum of one 1 year post-internship experience in either a public or private hospital setting.
  • Over one 1 year of working experience, ideally in a busy health facility.
  • Academic Qualification: Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
  • Professional Registration: Registered with the Clinical Officers Council and MUST possess a valid practicing license.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Strong knowledge and practical experience in the management of non-communicable diseases NCDs is key.
  • Certifications: Must hold valid certificates in Basic Life Support BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS.
