Commercial Vehicles Sales Manager — Hino Trucks Parow (Western Cape)
Hino Trucks Parow is looking for a driven Commercial Truck Sales Manager to lead our sales
team and help grow our market share across the Western Cape.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who understands commercial vehicle sales, enjoys
developing people, and is passionate about building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of commercial vehicle sales executives
- Drive daily sales activity, prospecting, customer visits and pipeline management
- Ensure salespeople achieve their activity, volume and profitability targets
- Coach and support the team through the sales process and assist in closing key deals
- Develop and maintain relationships with fleet owners, transport operators and key decisionmakers
- Manage vehicle stock, order books and sales forecasts
- Work closely with the Dealer Principal to develop sales strategies and growth initiatives
- Monitor e-Toyota usage, reporting, customer follow-up and overall sales discipline
- Ensure exceptional customer service and customer retention
- Recruit, train and develop sales staff where required
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial truck, fleet or transport-related sales
- Previous sales management or team leadership experience
- Strong understanding of the commercial transport industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze performance and implement corrective actions when required
- Self-motivated, highly organized and target-driven
Advantageous
- Code 14 driver's license
- Financial and/or F&I experience or exposure
- Experience within a truck dealership environment
- Existing network within the transport, logistics, construction, waste, FMCG or fleet sectors

The ideal candidate is a leader who leads from the front. Someone who is equally comfortable
coaching a salesperson, sitting with a fleet owner, negotiating a deal, reviewing a pipeline, or
presenting strategy to senior management.
