Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Consultant Pediatrician at Mother and Child Hospital, located on Lagos Mainland.
• The Consultant Pediatrician will provide expert medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.
• Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing pediatric illnesses, performing routine check-ups and immunizations, collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as neonatologists and gynecologists, and advising parents or guardians on child health and development.
• The role also involves staying updated with advancements in pediatric medicine to ensure the highest quality of care.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Primary Care practice
• Expertise in Pediatrics, with proficiency in diagnosing and treating childhood illnesses
• Specialized skills in Neonatology and care for newborn infants
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and other medical professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with both patients and caregivers
• Possession of a medical degree MBBS or equivalent and board certification in Pediatrics
• Proven clinical experience as a pediatrician in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Commitment to compassionate and patient-centered care
• Familiarity with child-focused healthcare regulations and standards
