As a Contract and Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in supporting business growth by leading contract negotiations, managing commercial risks, and ensuring successful contract execution while fostering strong customer relationships.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in telecom contract negotiation, commercial management, bid management, or a related field.
- Proven success in contract negotiation and commercial operations within the telecommunications or ICT industry.
- Strong understanding of telecom contract structures, bidding processes, and commercial terms.
- Knowledge of legal, financial, taxation, and compliance principles related to commercial contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to apply a customer-centric and solution-oriented approach to commercial negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation, review, negotiation, and execution of commercial contracts throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Provide commercial and contractual guidance during bidding activities to ensure high-quality proposals and contract compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contract documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with customers to secure favorable terms while minimizing business risks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer contract inquiries, including penalties, liquidated damages, claims, disputes, and contractual amendments.
- Partner closely with Sales, Delivery, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective contract management.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks while monitoring contractual obligations throughout project execution.
- Develop and deliver contract management and commercial compliance training to internal teams.
- Manage contract documentation, ensuring timely archiving of both electronic and hard-copy agreements in accordance with company policies and SLA requirements.
- Drive historical contract closure initiatives, including expired framework agreements and long-outstanding contracts, to improve contract management efficiency and compliance.
