Job Summary

  • Responsible for managing the Chairman’s public image, media relations, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, and press activities while promoting the organization’s brand and reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Draft press releases, speeches, and executive correspondence.
  • Manage media relations and public communications.
  • Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and public engagements.
  • Handle corporate branding and reputation management.
  • Manage social media and digital communication platforms.
  • Monitor media reports and provide executive briefs.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, media houses, and the public.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Experience working with senior executives or public figures is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong media relations and stakeholder management ability.
  • Speech writing and content development skills.
  • Social media and digital communication proficiency.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • Membership of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations is an added advantage.
