About the Role
- This is not a traditional social media internship.
- We're looking for someone who is curious, internet-savvy, and passionate about understanding why people pay attention to certain content, brands, and campaigns.
- You'll work directly with our Marketing Team Lead and collaborate with copywriters, designers, videographers, and content creators to research trends, develop campaign ideas, support creative strategy, and help execute marketing initiatives across multiple brands.
- If you constantly save content for inspiration, analyze why campaigns succeed, and naturally come up with creative ideas, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
Creative Research & Trend Intelligence:
- Monitor trends across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Stay up to date with internet culture, consumer behaviour, and creator trends.
- Identify opportunities brands can leverage to stay relevant.
Creative Strategy & Ideation:
- Generate fresh content and campaign ideas every week.
- Conduct audience and competitor research.
- Support brainstorming sessions with strategic insights.
- Develop content briefs, mood boards, and campaign concepts.
Content Intelligence:
- Analyze content performance and identify why it succeeds or fails.
- Research high-performing campaigns across industries.
- Recommend improvements to content strategies using data and audience insights.
Campaign Execution:
- Work closely with copywriters, designers, and videographers to bring ideas to life.
- Assist with campaign planning and execution.
- Support content production and attend content shoots where required.
- AI & Innovation
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to accelerate research, brainstorming, and creative planning.
- Explore new technologies and workflows that improve creative output and team efficiency.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Have completed the National Youth Service Corps NYSC programme.
- Be available to work full-time.
- Be able to work onsite at our Ikeja office from Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Be passionate about building a long-term career in creative strategy and marketing.

Compensation & Career Growth
- This is a paid full-time internship.
- Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend throughout the 3-month internship period.
- At the end of the internship, candidates who successfully meet their performance goals and demonstrate strong creative, strategic, and cultural fit will be offered a full-time role as a Junior Creative Strategist, with a competitive salary, performance reviews, mentorship, and continued career development.
