A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICES CLERK
- Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints, ranging from simple to complex matters.
- Provide professional assistance to customers, ensuring they receive the most suitable solutions.
- Manage and respond to all customer enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support dispatch operations and collaborate closely with the dispatch team.
- Maintain effective communication with local drivers and external sales representatives.
- Compile monthly dispatch reports and assist with general administrative and housekeeping duties.
- Process picking slips, convert orders, manage invoicing, and assist with order pulling and checking when required.
- Promote teamwork and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
QUALIFICATION & KNOWLEDGE
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of K8 system (advantageous).
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of power tools and accessories is beneficial.
- Strong sense of accountability and pride in delivering results.
