Data Analyst

Role Overview

• We are seeking a Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing data, building dashboards and reports, and providing insights that improve operational efficiency.
• The role requires a highly analytical individual who can interpret complex data, identify trends and opportunities, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
• Conduct customer behaviour, product performance, and operational analyses to support business objectives.
• Monitor key business performance metrics and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Develop, maintain, and optimise dashboards, reports, and visualisations using business intelligence tools.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs, data models, and analytical outputs.
• Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making across departments.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Management teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
• Support departments in defining, measuring, and monitoring relevant KPIs.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly and understandably to stakeholders.

Data Quality & Governance

• Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports and insights.
• Support the implementation of reporting standards, data governance practices, and documentation.
• Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, reports, analytical models, and reporting processes.

Business Intelligence & Continuous Improvement

• Simplify complex data concepts and insights for non-technical users.
• Identify opportunities for reporting automation and process improvements.
• Stay updated on developments in analytics, business intelligence, fintech, cryptocurrency, blockchain, and data visualisation technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Metabase, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with SQL and querying databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
