Job Purpose:
The DC controller is responsible for managing stock levels and ensure the smooth running of the DC.
Key Outputs:
1.Execute general administration for the DC: Report on stock levels/week’s cover to Account Manager and/or Field Sales Assistant to address over stocks or potential out of stocks,check and report on stock rotation within the DC.
2. Execute DC inventory control:Action and capture Signed and Stamped orders, liaise with the Replenishment Clerks on low stock levels and promotional lines and revert back to Account Manager and monitor ordering of new products as per Regional Account Manager guideline.
3. Execute activities to comply with relevant safety policies and procedures:Comply with access established control to restricted areas, comply with DC safety operational guidelines, policies, processes and procedures and comply with safe working conditions.
4. Client/Customer liaison:Provide continuous feedback as per client requirements, liaise with customer and depots' and compile trade visit reports.
5. Effective self-management and teamwork:Maintain a professional image in all aspects of personal and work presentation, deadlines met; relevant parties are informed of deadlines not met – able to provide appropriate resolution and actively seeks and is able to accept constructive feedback.
