Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead the district in achieving approved targets for deposit mobilization, financing portfolio growth, customer acquisition, digital banking expansion, fee income, service quality, and overall business performance.
2. Translate the Bank’s strategic priorities into district-level action plans, branch targets, follow-up mechanisms, and measurable performance commitments.
3. Provide direct leadership and coordination to business, operations, and district support functions to ensure integrated district execution.
4. Drive district accountability for financing growth, collection performance, NPF management, and overall portfolio quality across all branches under the district.
5. Review district and branch performance on a regular basis and initiate corrective action for underperformance, service gaps, control weaknesses, and execution delays.
6. Oversee district resource mobilization efforts and ensure structured pipeline development for high-value individuals, SMEs, corporates, institutions, associations, and public sector opportunities.
7. Ensure district-level follow-up and support for digital banking growth, customer activation, campaign execution, and usage improvement.
8. Review, endorse, or approve financing proposals within delegated authority and ensure that district financing decisions are timely, prudent, and policy compliant.
9. Coordinate district-level branch readiness, branch opening support, relocation follow-up, maintenance coordination, and local issue resolution assigned to the district office.
10. Represent the Bank in the district by building strong relationships with local authorities, business communities, institutional customers, and strategic partners.
11. Ensure implementation of Head Office directives, audit recommendations, control actions, and service improvement initiatives across branches in the district.
12. Prepare and submit district performance reports, business pipeline reports, portfolio quality updates, and management reports as required.
Place of work: Addis Ababa, South (shashemene), West (Jimma) and East (Dire Dawa) District Offices
Salary: As per the Bank’s salary scale and attractive benefit packages.
