We are looking for an experienced and performance-driven individual to fill the role of Divisional Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Executive Management to execute and implement the operational strategy in alignment with the Group's objectives.
  • Oversee and manage all operational functions within the Distribution Centre, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely distribution to stores.
  • Monitor overall operational performance by gathering, analysing, and interpreting logistics, inventory, and cost data.
  • Ensure achievement of productivity targets, cost control objectives, and service level agreements with retail stores.
  • Review financial and operational reports and implement corrective measures to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare forecasts, operational budgets, analyse variances, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, health & safety standards, and audit requirements.
  • Oversee inventory control, shrinkage management, and stock accuracy within the Distribution Centre.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to warehouse, logistics, and supervisory teams.
  • Manage labour-related matters including disciplinary processes, grievances, and compliance with labour legislation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' senior management experience, preferably within retail distribution or warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale distribution or logistics operations.
  • Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse systems.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and leadership skills.
